Welcome
Seeking therapy is a meaningful step, and I know it isn’t always an easy one. Maybe your mind never seems to shut off. Or you’re the person everyone relies on while quietly struggling yourself. You might replay conversations, worry about the future, second-guess decisions, or are stuck in an emotional spiral.
Therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’ve been carrying so much on your own. You don’t need to have everything figured out before beginning. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported while also being challenged to grow. We'll work to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy and build a path toward meaningful, lasting change. If you're looking for a warm, culturally responsive therapist who offers practical support and compassionate guidance, I’d be happy to support your journey toward healing and growth.
My Approach
I view therapy as most effective when it is both insightful and practical. While understanding your experiences is important, I also want you to leave each session with tools and strategies you can carry into your everyday life.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients develop greater self-awareness, build effective coping skills, and respond to life's challenges in ways that are more aligned with their values.
Growing up with a mixed-race background has also shaped the way I approach therapy. It has given me a deep appreciation for the ways culture, family, religion, identity, and lived experiences influence how we see ourselves and relate to others. I strive to provide care that is culturally responsive and grounded in curiosity. My hope is for you to feel respected, understood, and empowered to bring your whole self into the therapy process.
I work with kids, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. No two people are alike, and I believe therapy should reflect your individual experiences, strengths, and goals.
